Midgardar is a gesthouse located in a small village named Grenivík and is located about 30 minutes north from Akureyri and about 60 minutes from Mývatn. You can browse pictures here
Midgardar is open all year long. In the summer time there is alot to do.
Polarhestar is a farmhouse with around 70 horses and offers variety of long and short riding tours in an extraordinary landscape and is only 5 minutes drive from Midgardar.
Hléskógar is also 5 minutes drive from Midgardar. There is a zoo were you can variaty of animals. 
Midgardar offers both sleeping bag accomodation for both individuals and larger groups and has a house called Hamraborg wich has 4 individual rooms for 2 persons each. Each room is equipped with a flatscreen TV, radio, bathroom with shower.
